Application:
Drilling: Core drill the damaged thread by means of a conventional twist drill. No core drilling is necessary for threads of spark plugs; instead use the drill/cut combination tool. Please note that for machine taps larger bore holes are required.
Control: Check tap and bolt for same thread and lead.
Thread: Cut the thread seat in the opened hole with the special V-coil tool.
Install thread insert: Place the insert on the tool and make sure that the driving tenon is seated in the aperture of the groove, then adjust with the set collar. Afterwards, by slightling pushing, screw in the thread insert in direction of the thread.
Do not turn against moving direction, the tenon may break off.
